The notice offers Reject optional, Accept all and Customize with the same prominence. Accept all allows only the optional preferences listed below. Customize opens a settings panel with essential storage always on and a separate preference switch. Choose Save choices to apply it. Closing the panel, pressing Escape, scrolling or continuing to browse does not grant permission.

You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. With JavaScript disabled, no preference-storage code runs. If your browser blocks storage, your choices and controls still work in memory on the current page; you may be asked again on another page or visit.

Our browser storage inventory

These entries use localStorage, not HTTP cookies. They are local to the site origin and browser profile. The essential record remembers whether optional storage is allowed; it is not used to identify you or measure visits.

The website never stores a license key, receipt token, card details, email address or API key in these preference entries. Interface sounds start off and require your action; that setting is not saved.

Change your mind at any time

Turn Optional preferences off and save, or choose Reject optional, to withdraw permission. The site removes its three optional entries from local storage and any older copies in session storage. Controls on the current page can continue in memory. The essential choice remains for 180 days so you are not repeatedly asked. A change in another open tab updates this site's consent controls and stops optional writes there.

After expiry or an invalid record, optional permission ends and the entries are removed when the site next runs. A new optional purpose would require a new choice before use. You can remove entries immediately through your browser’s clear-site-data controls. Clearing the essential record means we ask again; optional storage stays off until you allow it. If the browser prevents deletion, use its own site-data controls.

Checkout and the private owner inbox

Deliberately opening a Paddle checkout may use Paddle’s own cookies or browser storage for the checkout, fraud prevention and payment session. Those service functions are separate from our three optional interface preferences. Rejecting our optional storage does not prevent a checkout you request. Paddle explains its processing in its privacy policy; the checkout and your browser’s site-data controls provide the relevant service information. Paddle.js and the payment interface load only when you deliberately start checkout. The checkout total may differ from a display-currency estimate.

The separate email.methaneco.in inbox is restricted to the owner. Its separate owner password cookie and Google authentication session cookies support login and access control, with a maximum session lifetime of 8 hours. They are essential to that private service, not marketing or visitor tracking. Public visitors do not need an inbox account. This public-site preference switch does not log an owner out of that separate service.

Connections are different from cookies

Loading the site requires requests to our host, Vercel. Selecting a foreign-currency estimate can request exchange rates. Following an external link or requesting checkout connects to the selected service. Cookie settings do not disable those requested connections or erase technical hosting logs.
