What the website uses

Payments, delivery and activation

Paddle processes purchases as our merchant of record. Opening checkout loads Paddle’s payment interface; Paddle receives the billing, contact and payment information you provide and sends your payment receipt. We do not receive full card numbers. Paddle’s privacy policy explains its payment, tax and fraud-prevention processing.

Our server uses your Paddle transaction reference, purchased product, payment/refund status and customer email to verify delivery, issue activation and send the Methane activation email through Brevo. A cryptographic delivery marker is saved with the transaction to suppress routine duplicate delivery. Email retries after an interrupted confirmation may produce the same activation email again.

A private return token permits receipt recovery; the page removes it from the address before loading other assets. Activation keys and receipt tokens stay in page memory, not optional browser storage, and are sent only to our verification/download service. Your downloaded signed license contains product entitlements and an order reference, without your email or payment details. Installed plugins store license and trial state locally. An existing offline certificate cannot be remotely revoked.

Plugins, accounts and outside links

This website does not require an account to browse or obtain public trial/Lite downloads. TeaVOX Lite works offline. Paid-plugin trials and licenses have their own local device state; the website’s storage choices do not control files stored by installed plugins.

External artist, music and provider links take you to services with their own policies. We do not load embedded music players or advertising trackers on these pages. If you configure an AI provider inside a paid plugin, that is a separate, user-requested connection governed by the provider’s terms; the website does not ask for that API key.

Purpose, sharing and retention

We use optional preference storage with your permission. Technical hosting and security processing supports delivery and protection of the site. Email is used to answer your enquiry and handle any related request. We do not use the site to sell your personal information or build advertising profiles.

Data is handled by the providers needed for those functions, such as Vercel for hosting, our email service for messages Paddle for purchases and Brevo for activation delivery. Hosting and service providers may process information outside your country. Their platform policies and service configurations govern infrastructure-log retention; we do not promise that choosing Essential only removes server logs.

The browser choice and preferences expire after 180 days and are removed when the site next runs, or earlier when you revoke permission or clear site storage. We keep correspondence only as needed to respond, follow up, resolve an issue or meet applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete correspondence; any remaining legal or security need will be explained where applicable.

Your choices and requests

Open Cookie settings to allow preferences or switch to Essential only at any time. You can also clear site storage in your browser. With JavaScript disabled, the site writes no browser preferences and its core content remains available.

Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent or complain to a relevant authority. Email support@methaneco.in with your request. We may need enough information to verify and understand it, but do not send identity documents unless a proportionate check is requested.

Security and changes

We take practical steps to limit access and protect the site, but no website can guarantee absolute security. Report a suspected exposure privately to support@methaneco.in; do not include secret keys or exploit another visitor’s data.

If these practices change, we will update this notice and its date. New optional purposes will require a new choice before they are enabled.
