Terms & conditions
Updated 23 October 2026
These terms explain how to use Methane Co.’s website and available downloads. Methane Co. is an independent music collective in Pune, India. Questions go directly to support@methaneco.in.
Purchases and digital delivery
TeaVOX+ is USD 40, TeaMIDI is USD 30, and TeaSUITE includes both for USD 60. These are one-time purchases, with no recurring subscription. Displayed non-USD amounts are estimates; Paddle checkout shows the actual currency, total and applicable tax before you confirm. UPI is available to eligible buyers in India checking out in INR.
Paddle is the merchant of record and processes payment, applicable tax and the payment receipt under its buyer terms. Methane Co. provides the plugins, activation and product support. You do not need a Methane account to buy.
Digital delivery follows confirmed payment capture. Paddle’s receipt and our activation email arrive separately; payment methods with delayed capture can take longer. Your return link or emailed activation key opens the licensed download choices. The downloaded ZIP includes the plugin release, signed license and installation instructions. If delivery fails, contact support@methaneco.in with your transaction reference. Do not share private keys or full card details.
See the refund and cancellation policy for requests within 14 days and your mandatory rights. Refunded or disputed purchases cannot obtain fresh activations or downloads; a previously issued offline certificate cannot be remotely revoked.
Downloads and trials
Use the release notes, system requirements and installation instructions provided with each download. Back up important sessions and start monitoring at a safe volume. A DAW, operating system or hardware combination may behave differently from those we have tested.
TeaVOX Lite is free forever and requires no trial, account or activation. Official paid-plugin trial binaries offer seven calendar days, beginning when you explicitly choose Start trial. Expiry limits the official trial build unless a valid paid entitlement applies. Trial timing, local device storage and product limitations are described with the download and in the plugin.
Keep paid license keys, signed license files and private receipt links confidential. Do not impersonate another buyer or try to access another person’s order. This restriction concerns private credentials; it does not remove open-source rights described below.
Open-source rights and creative work
Where plugin code is provided under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL), that license governs your rights to run, study, modify and share the covered software. These website terms do not narrow those rights, add restrictions to them, or replace the license and notices included with the source. Obtain the corresponding source and notices from the links accompanying the release. See the AGPL text.
A charge for official binaries, distribution, support or an activation service does not remove rights already granted to recipients by the applicable open-source license. Music, artwork, photographs, names and branding remain subject to their own rights and permissions. A plugin download does not grant rights to use another artist’s recordings or brand.
Use the site responsibly
Do not attack the service, distribute malicious files through it, misuse private credentials, impersonate others or access data you are not authorised to use. Do not upload or email material you do not have the right to share. Normal use, accessibility tools, good-faith reporting and rights granted by the software license remain unaffected.
External links and user-selected services operate under their own terms. We do not control their availability, pricing or policies. Any paid-plugin AI provider connection is optional and separately configured by you; provider fees and terms may apply. Do not send us your provider API key.
Availability and your legal rights
We aim to keep the site and releases accurate and usable, but features, release availability and information can change. We may fix errors, maintain the service or remove unsafe material. Open-source software carries the warranty terms stated in its license.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waives mandatory consumer protections or limits rights under an applicable software license. There is no blanket “all sales final” rule here. If a problem affects a download or an order, contact support@methaneco.in so we can address it.
Privacy and updates
The privacy policy explains data handling, and Cookie settings controls optional browser preference storage. You do not have to accept optional storage to use the site.
Changes to these terms will be dated on this page. They do not retroactively remove open-source or statutory rights. Contact us about a concern before sharing confidential details publicly.
