Sing or hum, record your melody, refine the notes and export MIDI. One note at a time; instrument sounds come from your own instruments.
HOW THE TRIAL AND INSTALLATION WORK
- Quit your DAW, extract the ZIP and follow README-INSTALL.txt. Install VST3 or AU, then rescan plugins.
- The seven-day clock starts only when you press Start trial. It keeps running while your DAW is closed.
- The trial record is kept outside the plugin files. A normal uninstall and reinstall does not restart the week.
- After expiry, the plugin locks until you activate a paid license. Your saved sessions and notes remain intact.
Mac builds are locally signed, not notarized. Follow your operating system’s normal installation prompts. Windows and Linux builds are experimental; target-device compatibility testing is still limited. Paid owner licenses continue working. Lite remains free forever.

INSTALLING YOUR LICENSED DOWNLOAD
- Extract the whole downloaded ZIP. Keep its installer, license file and payload folder together.
- Quit your DAW. Follow START-HERE.txt and the included platform installer instructions.
- The installer places your signed offline license and plugin files. Rescan plugins in your DAW.
- For manual installation, follow the included notes and import Methane.tea-license in the plugin’s activation screen.
After activation, the signed offline license works without a connection during playback. An emailed key can also activate a manually installed official build. Test purchases do not unlock production plugins.

These tools are AGPL-licensed and built with JUCE. Corresponding source and notices for previously distributed releases remain available.

Offline suggestions run without an account or an API charge. Online AI needs a key from a supported provider. Available models, free quotas and billing depend on that provider; free access is limited.
- Get a provider key. Use one of the official dashboards below. Choose a model your account can use.
- Open Tealy → Connection. Choose the matching provider and enter the key directly in the plugin. Never post your key in a message.
- Describe your sound. Ask Tealy, review the proposed settings, then Apply. The helper sends text and settings, never your vocal audio.
TeaVOX+ supports the providers above and compatible custom HTTPS endpoints. OpenAI API usage is billed separately from ChatGPT. Check each provider’s current terms and limits. A custom endpoint requires an OpenAI-compatible API; a key for an unrelated service will not work.
